What will I be doing?
The Senior Planner – Systems, Performance & Innovation leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the operational systems that support Hire Gulf Coast Youth (HGCY). This position oversees business processes, technology implementation, performance reporting, operational policies, and strategic projects that improve program efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
Working closely with internal staff, service providers, IT, and external partners, this role ensures Youth programs are data-driven, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.

What will I be doing?
The Senior Planner – Systems, Performance & Innovation leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the operational systems that support Hire Gulf Coast Youth (HGCY). This position oversees business processes, technology implementation, performance reporting, operational policies, and strategic projects that improve program efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
Working closely with internal staff, service providers, IT, and external partners, this role ensures Youth programs are data-driven, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Essential Responsibilities
Operations & Process Improvement
- Design and improve business processes and workflows.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, desk guides, and operational documentation.
- Standardize forms, templates, and operational tools.
- Implement process improvements that increase efficiency and consistency.
- Serve as the business lead for the Youth Portal, CRM, and related systems.
- Develop business requirements and coordinate system enhancements.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and support technology implementation.
- Create user guides and training materials.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards.
- Monitor data quality and analyze program performance.
- Support provider performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain operational policies, procedures, and guidance documents.
- Ensure operational processes align with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Support compliance reviews, audits, and monitoring activities.
- Lead special projects from planning through implementation.
- Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Research best practices and recommend innovative operational solutions.

Do you have…
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study.
- Minimum of 5 years working with local government, nonprofit programs, or in similar job-related duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with workforce development programs, CRM systems, business process improvement, Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, project management software, and Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification is preferred.
Salary Range: $72,000.00 to $90,000.00
