What will I be doing?
- Leadership and Team Development: Oversee the Child Care Scholarships Services Office and team. Provide operational and strategic oversight of Early Child Care Vendors Contract performance. Forge relationships with other entities in the childcare arena to ensure the best services for the children and families served in the Gulf Coast Workforce Board’s 13-county region. Provide strategic coordination and Board-level alignment to all TWC, state and federal requirements
- Program Performance and Compliance: Develop and implement effective comprehensive programmatic strategies to ensure all childcare programs and services comply with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, including those set forth by the Texas Workforce Commission.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, update, and enforce policies and procedures related to the TWC Early Child Care Scholarships Program and family engagement practices. Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure organizational compliance and effectiveness.
- Budgeting and Data Management: Oversee creation of early childcare scholarships workflows and operations to ensure fiscal integrity and compliance with funding requirements. Design, implement and manage the collection and review TWC Early Child Care Scholarships guidelines; and coordinate data collection, analysis and data sharing findings and outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including program managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to communicate early childcare scholarships, compliance requirements, improvement strategies, and address related issues. Ensure coordination of EEC programs/organizations to connect families and early education programs to an infrastructure where access to childcare financial assistance, information and referrals, and family supports is coordinated, efficient, and effective.
- Communication Development & Strategy: Oversee the development and maintaining of early childcare scholarship and vendor materials and communication methods to ensure families have accessible, accurate and timely information on TWC financial assistance and early childcare programs and resource.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Government, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in TWC Early Child Care Scholarship Program, TWC early childcare provider network, or related roles.
- Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Exceptional understanding of workforce development.
- Aptitude for collaborative teamwork within a diverse and dynamic environment.
Do you have…
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
- 10 years or more of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties
Salary Range- $115,000.00 - $140,000.00
